Locations for Hades 2 are the different terrains and environments that players will have to go through in the game as Melinoe. Each location will have a different environment and may have a variety of different Items and Enemies that are native to them. Each one will also have certain quirks that players will have to watch out for to properly manage their resources and parameters and be able to clear a room while keeping themselves prepped for the next. The locations in the game will cover parts of both the Underworld and the heavens, both areas affected by the disappearance of Melinoe's father and god of the dead. 	Olympian God: Aphrodite	Enter a door with Aphrodite's Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Aphrodite. Boons gifted by Aphrodite are a mix of healing, damage, and, effects that can inflict the Weak curse/status effect on enemies.
	Olympian God: Apollo	Enter a door with Apollo's Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Apollo. Boons gifted by Apollo focuses on granting Melinoe with inflicting enemies with Daze and increasing the radius of her AoE abilities.
	Special NPC/Merchant: Arachne	Only available in the Erebus biome of the Underworld region. Enter a supply stop chamber where players can find Arachne. Players can receive the Silken Fineries boon from this special NPC. Arachne's chamber can only be found within the Erebus biome of the Underworld region. Arachne's boons provide Melinoe with Armor bonuses and passive effects. It also serves as a cosmetic effect that changes the color of Melinoe's dress.
No Symbol	Olympian God: Artemis	Unlike the other Olympian Gods, Artemis randomly appears in chambers while Melinoe clears a room full of enemies. To identify when a player will have the chance to receive Artemis' boons, a notification will appear on the screen that says "The Hunt is On" and Artemis will assist Melinoe in combat with attacks, debuffing enemies, and provide Melinoe with recovery items. Artemis' boons primarily grant Melinoe with passive effects that focus on critical attacks, boosting Melinoe's attacks, and triggering various types of arrows.
	Olympian God: Chaos	A Chaos Gate occasionally appears in random chambers that Melinoe enters. The entrance to Chaos' domain will always appear on the ground and will only grant access after she picks up a boon or resource from clearing the room. Descending into Chaos' domain requires a small amount of Melinoe's health. Chaos' boons focus on different powerful effects in exchange for applying debuffs to Melinoe.
	Special NPC/Merchant: Charon	Charon can be found by entering doors that have the symbol of a bag with a skull at the center. By entering, three random items can be purchased from Charon such as Reagents, boons of the Olympian Gods, and Pickup Items.
	Special NPC/Merchant: Circe	Only available in the Rift of Thessaly biome of the Surface region. Enter a supply stop chamber where players can find Circe. Players can receive Changes & Fortunes boons from this special NPC. Circe''s chamber can only be found within the Rift of Thessaly biome of the Surface region. Receiving a gift from Circe's Changes & Fortunes changes Melinoe's size to grant different effects and it also provides buffs to Melinoe's Arcana Cards.
	Olympian God: Demeter	Enter a door with Demeter's Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Demeter. Demeter's boons are powerful passive skills that can alter Melinoe's attacks and moves by inflicting the Freeze curse that freezes foes and conjuring cyclones, a vortex that can damage and freeze enemies. One of Demeter's boons can also provide passive effects that can restore Melinoe's Magick over time.
	Special NPC/Merchant: Echo	Only available in the Mourning Fields biome of the Underworld region. Enter a supply stop chamber where players can find Echo. Players can receive Plaintive Echoes boons from this special NPC. Echo's chamber can only be found within the Mourning Fields biome of the Underworld region. Plaintive Echoes provide unique bonuses such as receiving extra boons, copying rewards, buffing Melinoe's stats, improving her combat moves, and more.
	Olympian God: Hades	Only available in the Tartarus biome of the Underworld region. Enter a supply stop chamber where players can find Hades. Players can receive Hades' boons from this unique NPC. Hades' chamber can only be found within the Tartarus biome of the Underworld region. Receiving Hades' gifts are said to be helpful boons that Melinoe should hold on to for as long as she can since these are powerful boons that are helpful in the battle against Chronos. Hades' boons focus on buffing Melinoe's damage, granting effects that can benefit life steal and death.
	Olympian God: Hephaestus	Enter a door with Hephaestus' Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Hephaestus. Hephaestus' boons are best used for offensive gameplay. It buffs and alters Melinoe's attacks by providing and creating blasts whenever she uses basic attacks, magick, casts, and omega moves. Some boons also provide defensive effects such as providing Melinoe with temporary armor.
	Olympian God: Hera	Enter a door with Hera's Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Hera. Hera's boons are tricky when used, they provide a passive effect that temporarily changes and improves the rarity of acquired boons, but after several encounters, they will lose their rarity and revert to their original state. On the other hand, some of Hera's boons alter Melinoe's moves by inflicting the Hitch curse. Enemies that are inflicted with Hitch take 30% of the damage dealt to other afflicted foes.
	Olympian God: Hermes	Enter a door with Hermes' Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Hermes. Just like the God of Swiftness, gifts from Hermes focus on buffing Melinoe's combat moves and her stats by making her agile and providing speed. Melinoe can receive effects such as quick casting of omega attacks, increased speed when dashing, and improved dodging.
	Olympian God: Hestia	Enter a door with Hestia's Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Hestia. Hestia, the Goddess of Flame, imbues Melinoe with the power of fire. Melinoe can alter her attacks by inflicting the Scorch curse onto enemies, Scorched enemies will burn ant take consecutive damage over time. One of Hestia's boons can also change Melinoe's sprint by providing an effect that can destroy enemy projectiles.
	Special NPC/Merchant: Medea	Only available in the City of Ephyra biome of the Surface region. Enter a supply stop chamber where players can find Medea. Players can receive Nightly Curses boons from this special NPC. Medea's chamber can only be found within the City of Ephyra biome of the Surface region. Nightly Curses are boons that focus on applying debuffs and effects to enemies. Certain effects can be granted such as acquiring various rewards for successfully killing foes or applying damage onto enemies from 1 to 999 damage.
	Special NPC/Merchant: Narcissus	Only available in the Oceanus biome of the Underworld region. Enter a supply stop chamber where players can find Narcissus. Players can receive Hades' boons from this unique NPC. Narcissus' chamber can only be found within the Oceanus biome of the Underworld region.
	Special Bonus/Gift: Path of the Stars	The path of the stars symbol will occasionally appear on a door if Melinoe has already received a hex boon from Selene. Depending on the hex you've selected, players can use a certain number of stars to activate passive effects to alter the effect of the hex.
	Olympian God: Poseidon	Enter a door with Poseidon's Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Poseidon. If you are looking into receiving more rewards in each run, then Poseidon's boons are what you need. The God of Sea primarily focuses on giving rewards to Melinoe and altering her combat moves with knockback effects.
	Titan: Selene	Enter a door with Selene's Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a Hex boon from Selene. Unlike other Olympian Gods, Selene provides Melinoe with a Hex Boon, a powerful ability that can be used upon meeting a requirement of using a certain amount of Magick. Selene's Hex provides Melinoe with extra abilities such as healing, strong attacks, transforming enemies, and more.
	Olympian God: Zeus	Enter a door with Zeus' Boon Symbol. Clear out waves of enemies in the room or enter the chamber to receive a boon from Zeus. The God of Thunder and the King of the Olympians, Melinoe's uncle provides his niece with the power of lightning. Receiving a boon from Zeus focuses on altering Melinoe's attacks by inflicting enemies with the Blitz curse. After taking 120 damage, afflicted foes get struck by lightning. The lightning consistently damages the target.

	Item/Reward: Daedalus Hammer	Clearing a chamber rewards the upgrade Pickup Item, Daedalus Hammer. Upon acquisition, this item allows Melinoe to choose one boon from a set of randomized weapon boons. Weapon boons improve the effects and provide passive effects to strengthen the equipped weapon.
	Item/Reward: Golden Apple	Reward from defeating the boss: Eris Biome/Region: Rift of Thessaly, Surface This item is a unique drop from defeating Eris, the main boss encountered in the last chamber of the Rift of Thessaly.
	Item/Reward: Golden Crowns	Clearing a chamber rewards Golden Crowns Golden Crowns are the currency used to purchase various items from Charon's supplies. Items can range from Boons, Reagents, Indulgences, and Pickup Items.
	Item/Reward: Soul Tonic	Clearing a chamber rewards a Soul Tonic. Acquiring this Pickup Item adds +30 to Melinoe's max Magick.
	Item/Reward: Nectar	Clearing a chamber rewards a bottle of Nectar. Nectars are offered to the NPCs such as Melinoe's subordinates at the Crossroads and the Olympian Gods. Giving a Nectar for the first time rewards the player with a Keepsake item, subsequently improving their relationship.
	Item/Reward: Pearl	Reward from defeating the boss: Scylla and the Sirens Biome/Region: Oceanus, Underworld This item is a unique drop from defeating Scylla and the Sirens, the main boss encountered in the last chamber of Oceanus.
	Item/Reward: Pom of Power	Clearing a chamber rewards the upgrade Pickup Item, Pom of Power. Upon acquisition, this item allows Melinoe to select and upgrade one of the boons Melinoe has from the Olympian Gods.
	Item/Reward: Psyche	Clearing a chamber rewards Psyche. Psyche is primarily used as an ingredient to perform Incantations and to increase the Grasp level to equip more Arcana Cards.
